Recently purchased a 1994 certified preowned 525i-after certification
there were lights out, gas gauge broken, windshield washers broken and
washer fluid container leaking, brake light circuit came on, found out
after purchase that the transmission had been replaced 6 weeks prior to
at only 38,000miles. Now have a shudder/vibration at 25-40 miles per
hour and again at 50-55 and am told its indicative of the drive train of
the 525. BMW's solution to the problem is to give me another 525-how
does this help if they all have it-I fight on.
