I am a social worker who works in a downtown homeless shelter. I wanted a car that was "safe & reliable" as I leave the shelter late at night and my daily commute to and from work is NOT SAFE!!! I have owned my car almost 90 days and approximately 30 days the car has been in the shop for repairs. My problems literally began several hours after I drove off the lot the tail lights did not work. I bought the car on a Saturday and returned it on Monday for so called "minor-adjustments" pieces of the steering wheel had fallen off. This items were repaired and within 6 days, the transmission froze up and became a major danger & had to be towed. I was driving on an expressway at 70 miles per hour and suddenly the engine froze up. I stated then I did not want the car & was told there was nothing that could be done. In addition, the roof leaked and I have several other problems, tail lights did not work, electrical problems, steering alignment, front-end problems, it ha to go to a body shop for repairs, and constant excessive wind noise from problems with all of the seals around the Windows. The customer service has been less than satisfactory- in my opinion, and I am currently pursuing arbitration. I am very thankful for your web site. I think we should do more!!! Please feel free to e-mail any suggestions, sincerely, Mary Ellen Saba
